Marwan Pablo

Marwan Pablo, born Marwan Emad Younes in Alexandria in 1995, is widely credited as a pioneer of the modern Egyptian rap movement. His atmospheric, trap-driven sound and cinematic imagery helped reshape the local scene in the late 2010s, and tracks like Free and Ghaba cemented his cult following even after a period of stepping away from music. Beyond rap he has expanded into fashion and film, taking on brand ambassadorships and his first acting role. He remains one of the most influential and closely watched figures in Arab hip-hop.
