Ziad Zaza

Ziad Zaza, born in 2000 in Fayoum, Egypt, is one of the most distinctive young voices in Arab hip-hop and a leading name in the emerging Egyptian drill and trap scene. He works across drill, trap, Afrobeats and oriental hip-hop, pairing hard-hitting production with a restless drive to keep reinventing his sound. His releases and collaborations have racked up millions of streams and made him a fixture on regional charts. Alongside music he has moved into acting, appearing in film projects that have travelled to major festivals.
