Yacoub Abu Ghosh is a Jordanian composer, bassist, arranger, and producer who has worked as a musician for around 25 years. His work is rooted in Levantine folk traditions but reaches freely into contemporary sound, blending traditional Arabic maqam scales with modern instrumentation. He has performed and produced both independently and in collaboration, moving between the roles of bandleader, composer, and player. His output reflects an emotionally driven approach that bridges folkloric heritage and present-day arrangement.
