Biography
Al Nather, born Mohammad Masrouji in Ramallah in 1993, is a Palestinian producer and rapper and the main sonic architect of the BLTNM label, which he co-founded with Shabjdeed, Shabmouri and Faris Amin. He began making electronic music as a teenager on FL Studio and went on to shape the cohesive sound of Ramallah’s underground rap scene that gained global attention. He produced the landmark 2019 album Sindibad el Ward with Shabjdeed, and their track Mtaktak was cited by the BBC among the greatest hits of modern Arab hip-hop.
