Bayou, born Adham Bayoumi, is an Egyptian artist spearheading a new wave of Egyptian R&B. Raised between the Gulf, the UAE and Boston before basing himself in Los Angeles, he draws on both classic Arab music and Western influences to craft a sensual, border-crossing sound. His tracks weave Arabic and English lyrics through silky vocals, and his search for identity has resonated with a global audience.
