DJ Gawad is a Palestinian producer and rapper who made his mark with the debut album Volume 1 on the independent label Drowned by Locals. The record reworked Memphis-rap aesthetics with a satirical, critical edge and tight, focused collaborations. He counts peers such as Julmud and Rndkkn among his features. He has quickly become one of the scene’s more talked-about names.
