Felukah

Felukah is the stage name of Sara El Messiry, an Egyptian rapper, singer and poet who moves between Cairo and New York. She weaves English and Arabic verses through a warm palette of neo-soul, jazz and lo-fi production, often folding Egyptian folk motifs into her writing. Independent throughout her career, she has become one of the most recognisable voices of the young Arab diaspora. Her work centres womanhood, identity and belonging across two cultures.
