Biography
Soulphonic is an Egyptian duo built around multi-instrumentalists Sherif Abdelmaged and Youscef, known for a genre-blurring approach that pulls together blues, neo-soul and indie rock. Their debut album Akher El 3alam showcased fluid keyboard and guitar interplay layered with electronic textures. The pair have collaborated with peers such as Lege-Cy and Tul8te, embedding themselves in Cairo’s independent scene. Their sound favours mood and musicianship over commercial polish.
