Sami Galbi is a Swiss-born Moroccan artist who fuses North African chaabi and folk traditions with trap and forward-leaning electronic club music. He first surfaced as the singer and bassist of the Lausanne group El Mizan before launching his solo project in 2023, carrying a DIY, punk-rooted energy from the city’s squat and underground scenes. His debut album, Ylh Bye Bye, arrived in 2025 on the Geneva label Les Disques Bongo Joe and earned wide international press.
