Zaed Naes

Zaed Naes is a Jordanian electronic and audiovisual project whose name translates as plus-minus, active since 2013 across intimate venues and festivals. The group brings together Basel Naouri on synth and trumpet, Amjad Shahrour on bass and vocals, and Ammar Urabi on electro-acoustic drums. Their music weaves jazz, trip-hop, loop-based electronica, and post-rock with regionally influenced Arabic styles. They frequently collaborate with guest vocalists from across the Middle East, stretching both musical and geographical boundaries.
