Biography
Hassan Abou Alam is a Cairo-based electronic producer and DJ and one of Egypt’s most prominent contemporary dance-music exports. Active since the late 2000s, he crafts club tracks that fold UK bass and techno together with traditional Egyptian rhythms. His music has appeared on labels including Rhythm Section, YUKU and Casa Voyager.
