Epi

Epi, also known as Khalil Epi (Khalil Hentati), is a Tunisian electronic producer working at the intersection of North African tradition and contemporary club music. He is a central figure in the project Frigya alongside percussionist Imed Alibi, where the pair reinterpret traditional Mezwed and Bedoui repertoires with dancefloor-oriented electronics. His production draws on years of research into archiving and reworking Tunisian folk forms. The result places heritage percussion and vocals inside a modern electronic frame.
