Liliane Chlela

Liliane Chlela is a Lebanese experimental electronic producer and performer who came up in Beirut’s underground scene and is now based in Montreal. Known for dense sound design and largely improvised live sets, she has spent more than a decade pushing electronic and experimental music across the Middle East and beyond. Her solo catalog includes Malign/Benign (2020), the acclaimed Safala (2021), and Anatomy of a Jerk (2024). She works both as a solo artist and through numerous local and international collaborations, and is regarded as a key figure in Lebanon’s contemporary electronic community.
