Autostrad

Autostrad is a Jordanian indie band from Amman, formed in 2007, whose music mixes rock, reggae, Latin, and funk with lyrics written in Jordanian dialect. Their songs draw on everyday life in Jordan, telling stories of love, hardship, and self-discovery. They have released the studio albums Fi Autostrad (2008), Autostrad (2011), Nitrogen (2013), and Turathi (2017), and became one of the first bands from the Jordanian scene to perform internationally, including a 2014 tour in London. The band’s name evokes the feeling of driving on an open highway.
