Arabs With Synthesizers

Arabs With Synthesizers (AWS) is an analogue-synth producer and composer duo from Amman, Jordan, founded in 2015 by Basel Naouri and George Rizeq. Working strictly with hardware synthesizers rather than digital instruments, they build an experimental platform for Middle Eastern electronic music. Their tracks fuse synthesized sound with organic rhythms, microtonal soundscapes, and sampled fragments of daily life, often featuring guest Arab vocalists. The project sits at the meeting point of regional heritage and forward-looking club and experimental electronics.
