Biography
Thawra is a Syrian singer, songwriter and rapper who built a reputation for sharp writing and a versatile approach to hip-hop. Her singles blend a range of influences while addressing complex, personal themes drawn from lived experience. She has since launched an indie-pop-leaning project under the name Shams, opening with the single Ahwak. Across both guises she is one of the most promising young Syrian voices.
