Biography
Adonis is a Lebanese indie-pop band founded by frontman Anthony Khoury in 2011, sometimes described as Lebanon’s answer to Coldplay. Known for punchy, heartfelt songwriting and energetic live shows, they became mainstays of the Lebanese and wider Arab indie scene. Their music has ranged across themes of love, solitude, heritage and life in Beirut’s extremes. They continue to release ambitious albums and tour the region and diaspora.
