Idreesi is a Jordanian singer, songwriter, and producer based in Amman who moved into music in 2012 while studying theatre acting and directing at the University of Jordan. He is a co-founder of Garaseen, an electro-acoustic project known for weaving electronic production together with live instruments such as guitars and brass. Alongside his own releases he has produced and written for other artists across the Arab alternative and indie scene, including collaborations with singers like Sarah Taibah. His debut studio album, a fifteen-track record leaning on nostalgic 1990s and Y2K-era pop, was produced by the Wall of Sound studio in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has continued to put out singles and EPs that move between Arabic songwriting and a distinctly regional pop sound.
