Rasha Nahas

Rasha Nahas is a Berlin-based Palestinian singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Haifa whose work sits at the meeting point of raw electric rock, poetic lyricism and trans-traditional influences. Moving fluidly between Arabic and English, she has built a reputation as one of the most striking voices in alternative music from the Arab world. Her albums Desert and the two-part Amrat chronicled migration, identity and inner reorientation, carrying her from festival stages such as Glastonbury to tours across five continents. She continues to expand her ambitious, boundary-pushing sound.
