Tamer Abu Ghazaleh is a Palestinian composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, born in Cairo in 1986 to an exiled Palestinian family and later raised in Ramallah. He trained on oud and buzuq under the Palestinian musician Khaled Jubran at the National Conservatory of Music, and composes alternative Arabic music with lyrics in classical Arabic, Palestinian, and Egyptian dialects. In 2007 he founded eka3, an influential independent organization supporting Arabic music through a label, booking agency, and other services. His projects range from the group Kazamada to his solo album Thulth.
