Amaka Jaji

Amaka Jaji is a Libyan singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the desert oasis town of Ghat who emerged in 2023 with the track Wain. He blends North African rhythmic influences and Tuareg and Sufi references with pop structures and a spiritual core. His checkpoint-blues ballad 32 arrived via the Wegz-co-founded Ra’ad Records. As he refines his sound, he is shaping a distinctive musical identity that mirrors his personality and visual aesthetic.
