Postcards are a dream-pop and shoegaze trio from Beirut, formed in 2012 and often described as one of the city’s longest-running alternative acts. The band features Julia Sabra on vocals and guitar, Marwan Tohme on guitar and bass, and Pascal Semerdjian on drums. Across several albums and EPs their catalogue has ranged from airy dream pop to post-punk and noise, exploring themes of alienation, melancholy, and resistance amid Lebanon’s instability. Their releases include the album In Parenthesis and a body of work that has carried Beirut’s underground sound to international audiences.
